我选了D。。就是因为够对称= =为什么还是错呢。。

我感觉to acquire是表示breeders这么做的目的。如果选D，感觉意思上好牵强，should感觉不像是breeders主动要达到这个目的而是被要求了。

一般来说在GMAT语法中，如果原句没有明显的逻辑错误，而是因为语法错误需要选择其他选项时，逻辑意思最好不变。A选项中in part that的意思并不是部分因为，而是一个递进的意思，衔接前面的use ，说明使用的用途。所以C D就错在建立了一个因果关系（because, because of），之后根据平行结构，选出E, 要和and 和的partly平行，但没有任何理论根据说平行结构后面是因果关系前面就一定要是！特别注意这一点，在GMAT中做到高分题时经常会出现这一些陷阱，让你觉得题目很简单，一看就选，高分题更多考察的是逻辑意思和句意而不是绝对语法错误，lz做题需要小心一点

D的主要问题是它用了被动语态，读起来非常awkward。这里被动完全没有必要（GMAT中尽可能使用主动语态），而且字数确实比E多很多啊。
