看到disappeared about应该明白了吧，这座桥14，000 前就消失了，既然人类第一次进入Americans是通过这座桥，那么通过的动作肯定是已经发生的了，而且是在disappeared之前，那么根据选项一定是选完成时
A) are thought to have first entered
(B) were thought first to enter
(C) were thought at first to enter
(D) are thought of as first entering
(E) were thought to first enter
而人类第一次通过这座桥是Geologists believe的内容，所以用are thought一般现在时，答案就是A
