keep的逻辑主语是主句动作的发出者，chalice was buried (by human) to keep it from being stolen，bury这个动作的发出者应该是‘人’或动物；而avoid的主语是主句的主语，如前述，主句主语是chalice，那么意思就变成chalice让人把自己bury，为的是chalice要avoid being stolen；it必须补出，以指出动作的对象。
