请教ogsc中的第49题

问题一:OGSC上说"The pronoun "which" should be used to refer to a previously mentioned noun, not to the idea expressed in an entire clause."但我记得无论中文还是英文的语法资料上都说which可作非限定性定语,修饰前面的整个句子.这里我感觉double的主语应该是前面的整句话所表达的意思,所以我做题是从a,c, e中选的,当然我是错的,但错在哪里?

问题二:OGSC上说"the participal form, "doubling", modifies the preceding clause."也就是说doubling的逻辑主语应该是前面的整个句子,这我同意.但我翻遍了张道真的书也没看见这种用法(只有现在分词做结果壮语和ETS的解释有点相似,但通常这种情况,主句的主语也可看做现在分词动作的发出者,).在我的知识里,doubling 处于这样的位置,camera就成了doubling 的发出者,但这于文中表达的意思不符,为什么用doubling?

又有一个新问题,还请这位高手再帮忙: 为什么用"known to orbit", 而不是"known as orbiting"?后者不更能表状态吗?

know后面加as,只能是know A as B (A,B均为名词,A可以是sb or sth),一般来说有3个意思：

1.用B来命名,或表明A.(B一般是一个"name")

2.A has B's qualities.

3.(在一定范围内）familar with A (像对B一样）
