  1. their share of the country’s $21 billion book market from 6 percent to 10 percent, a market ranging

  2. from 6 percent to 10 percent its share of the $21 billion book market in the country, which ranges

  5. to 10 percent from 6 percent its share of the country’s $21 billion book market, which ranges

answer: B/E(参考答案E)

reason:

3.E的which指代市场market,B的which指代国家country

answer: B/E

其次,A of B, which这里的which可以跃前指代。那这里A in B,which能否可以越前?

114. From the bark of the paper birch tree the Menomini crafted a canoe about twenty feet long and two feet wide, with small ribs and rails of cedar, which could carry four persons or eight hundred pounds of baggage so light that a person could easily portage it around impeding rapids.

(A)  baggage so light

(B)   baggage being so light

(C)  baggage, yet being so light

(D)  baggage, and so light

(E)   baggage yet was so light

而GWD-1-2里面,介词短语in the country是紧跟在market后面的,两个名词,which应该就是就近修饰country了。

GWD-1-Q2:

By merging its two publishing divisions, the company will increase their share of the country’s $21 billion book market from 6 percent to 10 percent, a market ranging from obscure textbooks to mass-market paperbacks.

  1. their share of the country’s $21 billion book market from 6 percent to 10 percent, a market ranging

  2. from 6 percent to 10 percent its share of the $21 billion book market in the country, which ranges

  3. to 10 percent from 6 percent in their share of the $21 billion book market in the country, a market ranging

  4. in its share, from 6 percent to 10 percent, of the $21 billion book market in the country, which ranges

  5. to 10 percent from 6 percent its share of the country’s $21 billion book market, which ranges

OG 85: Out of America's fascination with all things antique have grown a market for bygone styles of furniture and fixtures that are bringing back the chaise lounge, the overstuffed sofa, and the claw-footed bathtub.

(A)  things antique have grown a market for bygone styles of furniture and fixtures that are bringing

(B) things antique has grown a market for bygone styles of furniture and fixtures that is bringing

A of B, which(that)还是A +介词+Bwhich (that)到底从句修饰谁?

book market in the country, which ranges from obscure textbooks to mass-market paperbacks. 我们从后面的range from obscure textbooks to mass-market paperbacks可以知道只能是market能够有这样的range,不可能是country.

Factory outlet stores, operated by manufactures, are usually located miles from downtown and regional shopping centers so that they do not compete directly with department stores in the same trading area.
