在中文里，我们可以说致力于经济的加强，但是在英文里，这样的说法就不如加强经济好。a中， the South with improvement of soil and diversification of crops也错了，完全可以用名词修饰名词来达到同样的效果soil improvement and the diversification of crops

还有一点是with

the word "with" doesn't actually indicate any intent or cause-effect relationship
