2－如果D的时态对应不上，那么所有的选项都错，因为所有选项都使用一般现在时；make sth as的用法的确没见过，但是D并不是这种用法，make his letters the rival of才是D的真正结构make A B，而句中的as a group是修饰letters，如我们所说的：soccer as part of my life足球是我生命的一部分；

3－C表达的是条件句，而E表达的是因果关系，两者语气不同。each的用法比较特殊，each of + 复数名词+单数谓语；复数名词+each+复数谓语，所以E满足后者，是正确选项。
