答案是d 为什么不选a啊求高人指点…

答案其实是E

A：those指代错误

B： to double 错误

C： those 指代错误

D：those指代错误；as much as在这里修饰可数名词，错误

应该是 number和number的对比~~

以下是manhattan里提到的those等这类词的用法：

The Demonstrative Pronouns are this, that, these, and those. You may use any of these pronouns
as adjectives in front of nouns, as we have already seen.

for example：New "nano-papers" incorporate fibers that give THESE MATERIALS strength.

You may also use that or those to indicate a "New Copy" or copies of the antecedent.

for example：The money spent by her parents is less than that spent by her children.

e 对嘛？我觉得A 错是因为doubling的逻辑主语有问题，主句里的percents of adults中adults 才是核心词，所以adults doubling those中的those无指代对象，而d中的those指代的是adults，比较的应该是核心词adults而不是数字，，，，，我是这样考虑的，水平不行，还请指教
