关于曼哈顿的两道语法题

1 × She argues that the agency acts with disregard for human lifeAND property AND reckless abandon AND it should therefore beshut down.

√She argues That the agencyacts WITH reckless abandon AND WITH disregard for human lifeAND property, AND THAT it should therefore be shut down.

这道题怎么修改并且最后成为这种形式我都了解，注意WITH recklessabandon 和WITH disregard 在逻辑和结构上面都实现了平行。然后我在曼上看到了下一句

× Many teachers choose to seekemployment in the suburbs rather than to face low salaries in the city.

√ Many teacher choose to｛seek employment in the suburb rather than face low salariesin the city. ｝

这一句中我是到了rather than to face中的to被去掉才能成为正确选项，我就困惑了，明明在同一章里，为什么第一个句子的with—两个平行都要有，第二个例子的to却删了；还有在平行中什么时候保留介词，什么时候去掉它。

2 Citizens of many countries are expressingconcern that the environmental damage caused by the widespread releaseof greenhouse gases may be impossible to reverse.

这句话在曼哈顿里是对的

可是我注意到THAT从句中有两个动词一个是caused by 另一个may be impossible~~为什么caused by直接放在句中没有加which/that 而且damage后面应该是被动吧，可是原句直接就把caused by添上去了，为什么？

我认为这句话也是平行的。
在只有两项的时候，你可以选择省略和不省略to。
如果三项以上的时候，我们就要看第二项有没有省略，然后第三项参照第二项的结构。

2) Citizens of many countries are expressing concern that 【the environmental damage (caused by the wide-spread release of green-house gases) may be impossible to reverse】.

动词应该为 was caused by

(2)was caused by也不对啊，一个clause怎么能同时有be caused by和may be impossible 两个动词

了解了caused by ~~~作充当分词短语的定语来修饰the environmental damage，就像the pen bought by her is made in China；或者来做定语从句that/which is caused by 来修饰damage
