我选的C，虽然觉得made Paris her home long
before to be 不太妥，但是看D项第一句的it，前面无名词，无指代对象，所以就选了C。请教一下哪里错了？

还有语法笔记上说it 不能做介词短语的修饰语，D it was fashionable to be an
expatriate ，不就是这种情况吗？不解啊不解，求牛牛指点一点，谢谢！

it was fashionable to be an expatriate是个句子，it是形式主语，他指代to be an expatriate

哦，我看错了。
还有语法笔记上说it 不能做介词短语的修饰语，D it was fashionable to be an
expatriate ，It是做不定式的形式主语。
