问题是many of them children 这种用法大家看过吗？是做vendors and beggars 的定语吗？

我回答第二个问题,我认为是       "名词+ 名词" 的独立结构,
我找到另一个例子 :

还有就是名词+ 名词结构

不是定语，是插入语。

选项C为何不可？思路：主语：CELLS，谓语三个动词并列：adhere....., beat.., and adopt....


因为adopt ...exclusive跟前面两个动作adhere和beat in unison表示相反的意思，所以要表达转折的意思，因此C不能用and而要用but，D正确。

这道题,我做的时候也错了,我选的是 C ,看玩答案以后,我认为是意思不对,意思上来讲前面说什么  beat in unison, 后面说 in specialized orientations exclusive of one another
可见两句的意思应该是相反的,所以不能用  AND ,应该用 yet 那么可以排除 ,A,C,E ,B 很简单,它没有连词,所以错误,所以正确答案是 D ,
对于 nickynicky 的那道题 ,我认为  两个动词用 and 连接,表示的意思是相当并列,在一个层面上,但是如果一个动词,后面跟一个现在分词 ,就是表示伴随或结果等等, 动词的关系就不同,差了一个层次
由着道题目我想到了下面这个885补充题，两道题目都是that从句划线，下面的答案是C,我选的是D,我本来以为错在that 从句里的subject不能用现在分词形式，可是看上面的题目，明明是可以的。下面这道题错在哪里呢？

如果做平行的谓语，前面应该有BE动词，但前面的is显然不可以。

另外请教一下gemj：如何能一下就看出beat和adopt是做伴随状语而非平行结构的谓语？
我在判断这个方面还不是很熟悉，请指点。

beating in unison yet adopting作状语修饰adhere。
因为beating in unison与adopting specialized orientations exclusive of one another在意思上是相反的，所以用yet而不是AND。

第15题，我觉得应该结合意思去看题，这题的意思是一个现象出现在M的主要路口是一波的vendor和beggar，（其中很多是小孩），他们包围车子在红灯的时候
