关于主谓一致的一道题

Prep语法笔记里面的一道题
我的问题有三个。
原体如下：The list of animals that exhibits a preference of either using the right or the left hand has been expanded to include the lower vertebrates.

答案A > exhibits a preference of either using the right or the left hand has been expanded to include

答案A的分析说： That指代 animals，因此that从句的谓语应该用复数。

问1： 哪个是that从句的谓语？
问2： 第一个主谓是哪个？第二个主谓是哪个？

答案B > exhibits the preference to use either the right or the left hand has been expanded and includes

答案B的分析说： exhibits 使用错误导致主谓不一致。

问3： exhibits 使用怎么个错发？

自己领悟了一下，档案应该如下：

问1：that从句的谓语是exhibit

问2：第一个主谓是 The list..........has been; 第二个主谓应该是 animals（主） exhibit（谓）

问3：The list 是单数，所以它的谓语应该用单数形似的 has been； animals是复数，所以它的谓语exhibit应该用单数。

怎么确定 that 修饰的是 the list 还是 animals？？

你说的对
A of B that C....... 结构中，根据that的后面的逻辑意思来判断that修饰的是A还是B。

在这里应该是......animals that exhibit......

所以正确答案应该是D: exhibit a preference for using either the right or the left hand has been expanded to include
