Welcome to Loyola University and the Department of Accounting. I have reviewed your educational background, transcripts, etc. and have determined that you will need 3 additional undergraduate/graduate accounting prerequisite courses to complete the Loyola MSA Program.
Your course program is as follows:
6 required accounting courses. Of these, at least 5 must be MSA courses. 1 leadership or ethics course (GB 440 or 441) 3 additional electives, taken from MBA courses or upper level undergraduate accounting courses. The accounting courses you can choose from are 306, 307, 308, 323, 341, 345 and LREB 362. 2 non-accounting business courses, chosen from the MBA catalog 3 UG accounting/business prerequisites including 304, 311, 328 15 total courses
I have also attached an MSA Program Sheet for 2011-12, a request to add an undergraduate course form and an MSA Course Planning Schedule that will give you an idea when certain MSA classes are offered during 2010-11. Once you review the documents, let's discuss your class selection as registration nears. At this point however, please complete and send back the "Request to take an UG Class" form for the following classes immediately. UG class registration begins in two weeks. I will register you for those classes in the fall.

Graduate registration for the fall begins in mid July and we will place you in an MBA elective class at that time as well.
