1. hedgingandotherinvestor strategies for preventing losses,这个部分在句子里面是什么作用？
2. 这个到底是谁和谁并列？

怎么LZ这句话像是出门在外丢了回程费的感觉..哈哈...

first of all, hedging is a NOUN.( even U do not understand the word when u have the exam, GUESS!) -->other investor strategies (offer u a hint that hedging also is a investor strategy)

parallelism : sudden downturns / hedging and other investor strategies /a loosening of the interest rates /a fear
