GMAT不要用this or these?

在看Manhattan语法里，71页，讲到"Finally, on the GMAT, do not use this or these in the place of nouns. Use it, they, or them instead".什么意思啊？不让用this or these，为什么啊？后面还有例句：Wrong: Her products are unusual; many consider THESE unique
Right: Her products are unusual; many consider THEM unique

求各位大侠指教

just do as manhattan says on GMAT although "many consider these unique" is ok in speaking english...

of couse you can use "this" and "these"...but remember to use them as adj. in front of nouns...
