答案选A，但我觉得A选项不对啊，除非把for去掉，或者把分号改为逗号，烦懂的解释一下。

A) is best. 此处FOR 作连词，所以A是完整句子。
1. For作为表示因果关系的连词的用法：
1)用于正式语体。
2) because的位置灵活，for只能位于主句之后，由逗号隔开：He is absent today, for he is ill.
3) Because 可以回答why问句，for不可以
4) Because之前可以带并列连词或强调词，for不可以。
5) 连词for可以引导一个独立的句子，为上文的情况说明原因或理由。也就是说for可以跟在逗号，分号，句号之后。Because一般不引导单独分句，回答why问句时可以是一个例外。
2. 大意：国际外交危机并不总是由malice（恶意或蓄谋）导致的；因为象个人一样，国家经常发现自己受困于艰难的处境，无法放弃原有的主张/让步/屈服。

A is best. 主要是A，B的区别，我认为B中business应该加es跟dwellings对应，而且意思也有偏差没A好, A is idiomatic。网上的一些句子：
Mesa Verde National Park enjoys the distinction of being the only one of the great western national park areas created to preserve the works of men.
This impressive pile has also the unique distinction of being the habitable possession of the descendants of its original founders.
distinction +of 限定distinction，不能用that，distinction+that从句表解释是无意义的，类似的有importance of ;need of;necessity of..此处distinction of being dwelling 是介词后用动名词，所以being 在这里是没有问题的，而as businessess 作状语修饰operate 意味作为商业机构来操作，而不是like business，像商业机构...其他答案错误较多，此题选A
