(C) and fatigue among shift workers while raising

(D) lowered fatigue among shift workers, and raised

(E) and fatigue among shift workers was lowered while raising
为什么D选项不对？ 3个动词平行，可以看做：have reduced, lowered and raised
这样不对么？。。。而且OG 解释说~D选项表达的反而是相反的意思，就是increased fatigue 这有是为啥米。。。

跪求高人解释~~~

If you choose D, you have to use "reduced sickness AND sleeping on the job" instead.

你怎么解释,sleeping.....,的作用
原句的结构应该是：
have reduced n1,n2, and n3这个结构

原文题干是我们做题的唯一暗示。

如果选择D，那么原文have reduced 后面的 sickness，sleeping on the job 中间必须有and。

连接两者需要用and吧？没有直接用逗号连的吧？

所以排除D。

而且，如果选D，从语义上来判断，
have reduced sickness, lowered fatigue among shift workers, raised production efficiency in various industries.

看看三个成分的意思，就发现他们明显不该并列。
前两个意思相似，但都和第三个意思不是一个范畴。
所以，一定不是它们三个组成的并列结构。

OG解释D选项时说：

“And is required to link the parallel elements;
the verb reduced applies to all three parallel
elements, so inserting lowered before fatigue
illogically suggests that fatigue actually
increased.“

它的意思是说，原文reduce 后面接的是三个并列成分：

第一：sickness
第二：sleeping on the job
第三：fatigue among shiftworkers

如果在fatigue 前面加上lowered，他把lowered看成adj.修饰fatigue。
所以reduce lowered fatigue，就是increase fatigue了。

弱问一句：OG E选项的解释中and thus while raising has no logical referent here该怎么理解呢？

我也想问E，那个lose logical referent怎么理解。。莫非是因为raise和reduce本表相反关系，结果reduce的平行结构被打破了就造成这样的结果了？那个logical referent到底想说什么。。。
