第二题：Newspapers had lower circulation in timezone A than in time zone B.

第一题：Prices are 1.3 percent higher nowthan those of a year ago.

为啥第一题就一定需要those，第二题可以不需要？OG对第一题的解释是：“Thefirst part of this version of the sentence illogically compares prices to atime”，但这样说来，第二题是否也需要加个that，以防circulation和time zone 作对比？
