以上2题谓语都是复数。

记得以前学语法时有一点是：

the a and the b are...(a,b指不同物)
the a and b is...(a,b同一物)

好像有问题，按这个做题，2题都得错。想请高手给解答一下。

yzlinlin,你想的太多了,ETS虽然流氓,但还不会这么耍心眼.因为他也怕人跟他ARGUE.这也是为何很多选项有一个以上错误的原因.

2. The    endurance    and    consistency do not refer to the same thing.

这种题太累人了。SECTION C-23，还有没有其他错误点可以找出来？难道B除了单复数的错误以外，就没有错了吗？

1. B中变成known as "the Iron Horse" 修饰 a baseball star好象是否修饰对象改变，改变了原来的意思？

E为什么不对呢？在A与E中的“The Iron Horse”指的都是主语endurance and consistency吧（A根据a of b的中心词判断规则）？
