比较的对象是自己的现在的economic health 和自己五年前的economic health相比，合理的解释是 如果省略了it was 就成了直接和时间状语比较，比较对象不对称。
可是举个简单的例子：
You are more beautiful than five years ago.
You are more beautiful than you were five years ago.
似乎两个都对...
再看另外一题
