Hey there—of course you can! Now you wont want to do this many times—you will want to wait at least until you are wait listed. But yes, you can absolutely have one person write a LOR for you, and submit it. There is no guarantee that the adcom will read it, but you stand to lose nothing by trying. Good luck!
