Being asked if young people do not have enough time on communities than those did in the past, my answer is absolutely yes. As society developing faster and people focusing on material life more than before, young people pursue the wealth and reputation more blindly and discriminate people caring communities, whose values and pursues are not consistent with those treated as mainstream.

First and Foremost, affected by socail (social) atmosphere of power and economic supremacy, young people pursue wealth and reputation brought by wealth, taking mass occupation of time and energy,and resulting in serious ignoration of communities inevtably.(inevitably) As what happened in China currently, many university students, who just enter the universities, represent great proactivities (proactivity) and treat helping communities as magnificent movements to serve the society. However, after two or three years' study, and after seeing how authority and weal affect the world, most of students bow to power and economic supermacy (supremacy) and join the team to pursue them. And helping communities are neglected as unvaluable working unavoidably.

Furthermore, not only praising power and economic supremacy, social atmospheres but also discriminate communities activities intendedly, thus distort young people's values and judgments into snobbish. Let me raise an example to explain better. In order to reduce public cost, some potent politicans (politicians) in United States insulted charity organizations as social burden, and imposed the faults of excessive government bonds on charity organizations . Many young people, who are laid off for downstream macro-economic situation, were blinded and cheat by those malicious politicans (politicians), thus they reject to help, care less, even oppose communities.

Admittedly,some people argue that some Christians and Buddhists serve communities and help people as carefully and sincerely as they pay to gods, or worship Buddha. However, as society developing to authoritative and economic supermacy (supremacy), fewer and fewer pure Christians and Buddhists exist so that their minute powers are not able to inhibit the great loss of young people's originate morality and mercy. As it is common to all, elder people take massive occupation of people who work in community now, and the occupation of young people are becoming smaller and smaller year after year. Because strong pursue of wealth and occuoation (occupation) and popular misinterpretation and discrimination of comunities (communities) have taken deep root in young people's hearts. They have no time and reject to help comunities (communities).

To sum up, young people never just talk the talk, they always walk the walk. The embarrassing (embarrassing) stature of communities belongs in this period-to remind me, no matter how wrong or evil discrimination of communities is, just what it is that pursue of authority requires, just what it is that malicious politicans' (politicians) discrimination requires.Those pursue and discrimination, which are treated as mainstream social value now, distort young people's original innocent value and mislead them reduce time on communities originally.

Attacking all three potential hypothtsis (hypothesis) stated in the reading, the lecture rebuts the reading's conclusion that insect parasites, brown bears' eating habits, and changes of climate perhaps explained the decline of yellow's cedar. The three opposing point held by lecture are elaborated as follows.

First and foremost, by delcaring (declaring) that yellow cedar holds more resistence (resistance) to cedar bark beetles than other tress do, the lecture opposes to the reading's argument that beetle larvae eat wood and lead to cedar tree's decline. As exemplified in the lecture, healthy yellow cedar's bark can produce some chemical materials to resist beetles, thus almost no beetles live on the tree's bark. In addition, beetles can attack those sick trees that will die anyway, which explains the recorded instances of beetle attacks.

Furthermore, the lecture disagrees with the counterpart in the reading by saying that brown bears' eating habits are not able to explain the overall decline of yellow cedar's population. Since yellow cedars that suffer from population's decline, live on both mainland and islands, but no bears live on islands, bears aggressive eating habits is not sufficient to explain yellow cedar's decline.

Last but not the least, the reading unilaterally concludes that root damages, which results from gradual changes of climate, perhaps are to blame, because it fails to take into account the fact that most yellow cedars die in warmer areas with lower elevator, rather than colder areas with higher elevator. However, the reading's arguments, which indicate that more trees should die in colder areas with higher elevator, is contradictory with the fact held by the lecture.
