这题答案是B，此题解释，因为穴居人disappeared 所以这里appear后要跟to have been equipped
疑问：那为什么不直接跟eqquipped或者had been equipped

appear to 当词组记吧。。。。

If the sentence 直接跟eqquipped或者had been equipped, it means that was a fact. However, it ONLY appears to be so . . . Not proven yet.
