Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Patience is not a good thing; we should take actions at once.
In the past, it took 80 days to circle around the world; nowadays, people can reach the other end of the earth during their sleep by plane. Long ago, men would wait letters for months; at the moment, no way is faster than instant messages. In old times, we used to be patient to read, talk and walk. However, in such a hectic society today, patience is really a luxury. If we don't take actions at once, we will lose in the competition.
To begin with, taking actions immediately is important in everyday life. In the modern world, the environment we are facing with has been more complex than ever before, such are the decisions. From choosing your clothes to wear to selecting food to eat to recruiting people to work, everything involves making decisions. In stalk contrast to hesitating among choices, taking decisions at once will save every precious minute. This is definitely right in the old saying 'Many a little make a mickle' in old Chinese. Therefore, if we eliminate all the unnecessary time of hesitating, we would gain a large amount of time to do things more meaningful.
Secondly, taking actions towards targeted objects is essential in making investment. Opportunities are prepared for those who are able to seize chances immediately. When it comes to the stock market, the price keeps changing all the time and when to buy and sell involves arduous decisions. In fact, ordinary people would wait until the price to be higher to sell and lower to buy no matter the true condition of the listed company. Consequently their money is trapped in the market and they have to borrow more to make ends meet. Hence, it seems that if they can sacrifice their needless patience and take actions adequately, things will turn better.
Thirdly, taking actions at once to protect the environment and preserve biodiversity shouldn't be neglected. Although the earth has the ability of self-balance, what human beings have destroyed is beyond that limit. Conversely, if we continue to destroy and not take immediate measures, we will ruin our habitants sooner or later. In that sense, patience is not a good thing; we should abandon it in terms of environmental problems.
Since the birth rate is higher than mortality rates in the world, there are increasingly numbers of hands grabbing contents that originally belong to you. Only by taking actions can you take up your space.
