B. some being formed as a commercial venture, others as religious havens,all of which had written charters

E. with some formed as commercial ventures, while othersas religious havens, each had a written charter

关于A选项的解释我有些糊涂。语法笔记里显示讲了each引导的独立主格。然后又在解释A选项的时候说：“Correct；some formed ascommercial ventures, others as religious havens做为the thirteen originalBritish colonies in North America的同位语，each为the thirteen originalBritish colonies的同位语”

那么这个each做colonies的同位语我就觉得很奇怪。引用之前以为筒子的发言模式，假设这个句子是1,2,3,4：2和3都是1的同位语，1本身没有谓语动词，4里的each再是1的同位语，1这个主句岂不是没有动词了？

总之这个each，我很糊涂啊。求各位解答！

我自己想了一下，会不会是这么个原因，这个each有副词的性质（longman上说的）。

例如We each have our own skills.

所以这个句子实际上是colonies each had a written charter.

所以我认为each不是什么colonies的同位语，而是一个修饰had的副词。

那后面的its怎么解释？前面木有一个单数名词
