[求助]请教likely用法

According to a survey of graduating medical students conducted by the Association of American Medical Colleges, minority graduates are nearly four times more likely than are other graduates in planning to practice in socioeconomically deprived areas.

为什么A 不对?

另外twice的用法一样吗？比如有没有twice as likely as to do sth.? 谢谢

A是不对的，撇开比较的问题，没有be likely in doing sth这样的说法。

C正确，比较不是这里的区别点，主要是正确用到了be likely to do

另外twice的用法如下

1. twice as much/many as

2. twice the 名词 ie. twice the average income

3. twice what 从句 ie. ......twice what it was in the 1970s

twice是副词

要注意more than twice这种说法是错的，twice不是名词。

four times as ... as,       no problem

four time more than ???  象中国英语，不太对吧。

可能不是这样。此题论坛中讨论过多次，以前管大侠和米国的本土大牛都选A, 从这可以认为four time more than 也是平时常用的。这题的选择的依据如xreox所说正确用be likely to do。我只是不知be likely in doing sth在口语中是否也有出现，否则那些老外怎么都选了A, 或者他们都光顾了看前，而遗漏了后面的。

顺便说一句，老外选A的一个主要依据是are other graduates 的are不能省，不过在gmat(包括CR,RC）中，有很多例句可说明此时的are可省，而不会产生歧义。大家可以在大全中搜搜类似的句子，顺便看看four time more than likely是否存在。我有一点模糊的影响好像见过。

有点晕，那么到底有没有这种说法：A is twice as likely as B to do sth.?

我个人认为是对的。给个大全中的例子：

Black Americans are, on the whole, about twice as likely as White Americans to develop high blood pressure.

我想平时再留意一下，特别是做CR题时，类似这种likely的用法会比较常见。
