1。 in greater detail 成了插入语，一般插入语都可以省略而不影响句意，如果省略了，后面的than 就没搭档了。

2。 A 错在 those 是复数，不能指代单数的 a vocal tract.

第一题："techniques" noun-verb agreement 排除 A /E ；
idiom "make it possible to" , 排除 B
“in great detail" 修饰 study, 根据就近修饰的原则，选C
