请问如果E选项如果没有then算不算对？连词后面的句子如果用代词不会引发歧义，是不是就能够都用代词了？

除了then的错误，E里面未划线部分的they依然指代single locuts，相比较之下，A里面明确指代locusts更明确.
A里面没有省去locusts are是有原因的.
