答案选A。我选了D。原因：我看着这句子超级复杂，就选了D，看着简洁，貌似没有语法错误呀。只是个人读起来还是觉得A好。求解，为什么选A。考点是什么？thx

contend that中的that绝对不能省略，这道题一看到就直接排除掉CDE，除非AB实在有硬伤，而且到了不能妥协的程度，否则绝对不选没有that的选项
