昨天的问题没人回答。。今天再问一个~今天是有一句句子看不懂。。OG第24句

that引导的定语从句是修饰enzymes的吗？
然后最后的the chemical irritant是作什么成分呢？
如果有大大能帮忙翻译一下整句就更好了~~~
