请教两道GWD1里面的语法问题

GWD1-Q2:
By merging its two publishing divisions, the company will increase their share of the country’s $21 billion book market from 6 percent to 10 percent, a market ranging from obscure textbooks to mass-market paperbacks.

为什么是B呢?which不是应该修饰的是market吗?

答案是C,对B不是很清楚。

关于第一题,我和你的想法一样,我觉得E更好,
但是关于第二题,我不是很明白为什么CEO's earn这样的形式会出现?

YES. IN B, which is describing market. the center word of "book market in the country" is "market", not "the country"

答案是C,对B不是很清楚。
In B, "a ratio" has no correct 先行词, "CEO’s now earn 419 times the pay of blue-collar workers" is a complete sentence, "blue-collar workers" can't be the 先行词
