OG的解释太让人无奈了，大家帮帮忙

今天做PREP错了一道题

我错选了D答案是A。后来发现这是OG12的21题，于是看了解释为什么D不对，但是完全不能被说服。OG说The final descriptor in present tense, now
drawing conclusions … does not fit the
opening clause, which is in present-perfect
tense (have amassed a wealth …) and seems
to modify adulthood.

问题是我为什么不能把drawing 看做是现在分词，修饰前面的整个句子呢。现在分词放在最后修饰前面整个句子太常见了而且这种修饰不存在时态一致的问题，前面句子无论用过去式还是现在式都可以被过去分词修饰。为什么OG非要说drawing这里是 in present tense呢？你可以说现在分词修饰的方法在这里会造成逻辑不对，我宁可接受这种说法告诉我D错了也无法接受OG的说法。

d选项 drawing做现在分词，就近修饰最接近的名词，也就是adulthood，就造成了歧义

我在做这道题的想法是，如果按照选项D，其实前半句话句子就已经完整了，后面除非跟从句，不然就应该以句号结束了。而显然，are now drawing....不是完整的从句

不能光看结构，或者看一个模棱两可的语法点，就选答案，很容易掉陷阱
原句说很多年来积攒了很多知识，然后现在终于可以得出结论
D的意思就变成了，得出结论中，然后已经积攒了很多知识

我理解OG所说的now drawing...和前面的现在完成时不合主要是因为有个now以至于句意在时间上和完成时出现了分歧，而现在分词做伴随的时候应该和主句是同时存在的。

至于说现在分词修饰adulthood我个人无法认同，目前做了og、prep和一半的GWD还没见过正确项里出现过现在分词可以隔着一个逗号修饰主句结尾的名词的。。。including是个例外，但那是作为介词而不是现在分词表伴随的用法了，显然drawing不适用这条
