语法笔记上说investing做定语修饰experiment~
问题一：现在分词investing作定语修饰experiment，说明两者是主动关系，可是experiment能够自己invest吗？不是应该被研究、被调查么？

问题二：如何区分定语和伴随状语，我觉得investing也可以做伴随状语修饰那个works呀！
是不是因为这里没有逗号，所以investing就一定是定语；有逗号就一定是状语呢？

我也觉得如果你要理解为investigating是作为works的伴随状语是需要加个“，”的，不过就算你这么理解，works和experiment是类似的，都不能用investigate主动语态。
牛津高阶字典里面investigate的解释是：to find out info and facts about a subject or problem by study or research
例句中有一句是：The research investigates how foreign speakers gain fluency.
所以experiment是可以investigate的

E这个说法有问题
what the effects changes in working conditions would have on workers' performance
如果一定要把这个改正确应该是the effects that changes in working conditions would have on workers' performance 原句少了that（不是宾语从句，that不能省略），还有what the effects少了谓语

不知道想得对不对，请大家指正

还有关于A选项的as to 的用法，是一定要so。。as to，还是可以单独用的？怎么用？

定语从句，现在分词修饰就近修饰，而且逻辑也很清楚，再说了orks离得远呢，相比较而言

可是做伴随状语，现在分词很多都是位于句尾，离主句的主语很远呀~
还有，关键在于changes，此话怎讲？？
