求解两题语法，纠结许久想不通啊。。谢谢！

答案说选B，我选C，B里面用了whether or not，不是说最好不这样用而直接用whether吗？还有be needed for doing 比be needed to do 好吗？B读起来总觉得别扭。。

2、During the Renaissance, scholars were uncertain as to be location of Troy, and by the eighteenth century many historians doubted that Troy had ever existed.
答案就是划线部分，但是不是说肯定句里用doubt whether，否定句用doubt that吗？

第一题必须选B，没有is的话有可能歧义为balloon angioplasty对 heart attack patients比对the balloon procedure好~而不是balloon angioplasty preceded with ultrasound 对heart attack比the balloon procedure对heart attack要好~

第二题只能说你说的那个语法点不是绝对的~现在ETS出的题不再是只靠几个语法就可以排除的~而是差中选优~
