答案是A，我选了B，有点混乱

还有求证一下DE，我是这么理解的：
DE the number of people as many as the increase不对称！与原文意思不同，原句是说，1990年乘 first class 增加的人数是前一年增加人数的两倍， DE是说1990年乘 first class 的人数是前一年增加人数的两倍

不知道是不是这样啊？？？？

C错误在于double和as many as连用。D错在the increase是单数，用as many as修饰错误。B错在the increase in x 和 the increase of x意思有差别。 "the increase in x"means that x iteself has increased.therefore ,"the increase in the previous year "doesn 't make sense。because the implication would be that the previous year itself had increased "the increase of 'time period ' means exactly what it should mean in this particular instance . share with you论坛上有语法笔记，这个就是，如果你需要，发站内信给我，我发给你

请问the increase in X 与increase of time period 有什么区别吗？如果用改为doubing the increase in the previous year 表达的是1990的增加量是1989年增加量的两倍吗, 错在哪里呢？？
