此题正确选项是A .我的问题是，A选项whereas 是连词，前边是句子，后面是短语。这不是违反了平行的原则么？简直颠覆我对GMAT的认知！

BCD都有比较双方无法对比的问题
E的in mammals定于位置放的不好，表述不清
A正确清晰的比较了mammals的tubes和birds的tubes，所以选A好

后面的也是句子啊，form是动词嘛。

就是比较哺乳动物的tiny tubes是平行的线，但是鸟类的tubes是随机的花纹，比较这个~
