虽然这道题很容易就选出正确答案，但是还是有点困惑，希望众位能够帮忙解下惑，多谢了！

正确的句子：

highlighted的部分也同样作为designed的宾语么？和nearly 800 buildings in California并列？这样并不需要连词？

"perhaps most notably William Randolph Hearst’s monumental estate at San Simeon" is used to describe a part of a larger group " 800 building in C "
