难道不是A么？我觉得A很好啊，看了一下老帖，貌似大家在A与B之间争议。我个人支持A，我觉得A很像GMAC的风格；其次B的because of没有体现原文by的意思；另外选B的对A的it指代的指控是没有道理的，it的指代很清楚。

以前很多人倾向A

但是我认为不选A的原因是不应用伴随状语thereby boosting, 因为两者不是同时发生，而是有前后之别的

还是有点区别的。。。
A中由于thereby的缘故，boost的动作发出者是it，也就是前面的主语efficiency
C中which指代demand，指demand对consumption的影响
