个人理解，仅供参考哦。
本题的考察点比较明显，楼主也正确的选择了C。
对于swine后面的由and连接的两个修饰语为什么不平衡，我的理解是：weighing可以认为是动名词做形容词，这样与ready这个形容词平行。也可以这样理解：这里两个修饰部分都省略了which is。如果加上的话还是可以理解为平行的。
我认为没有必要纠结于这个地方，因为这里不是划线部分，而且这样的写法不是错误的。如果你认为这里不是最完美的，也是可能的。
