和GWD 4-18题一样，但是没解决我的困惑，重新贴。

Yellow jackets(主语)number among(谓语) the 900 or so species of the world’s social wasps(宾语)， wasps同位语 (that live in a highly cooperative and organized society consisting almost entirely of females—the queen and her sterile female workers. 从句修饰同位语)。
那句子岂不是变成:
Yellow jackets(主语)number among(谓语) the 900 or so species of the world’s social wasps(宾语)， wasps.

问题，第二个wasps是同位语。可是一个完整的句子后面接了个同位语。结构很奇怪，是不是我理解错了？
请NN们指点一下。
