选E，别的我都没有问题，只是我不知道，e中为什么又有of又有between
projects an average global warming of between 1.8 and
如果说between...and不可少的话，那么去掉of可以么？

不是NN，我是这么理解的，如果不对希望大家指正：

词组：an average global warming of 6.3 degrees Fahrenheit 可以理解吧，
本题就是把degrees用"between...and "加了一个范围，和of 分属不同的词组，所以不冲突

I think that we need the "of" in this sentence. Look at the sentences below,
"A student of musical school."
Without "of", you will have to rewrite the sentence as,
"a musical school student."

In addition, I'm sure that you have noticed the use of "noun of noun" is promoted by GMAT.
(But I'm not 100% sure on this issue)
