Let me try. One-quarter is an expression of percentage and we normally say XX pecent of XX.

D.the number is less than one-quarter the amount

比较对象出错，the number（数字，单数）怎么可以跟the amount（数量，复数）作比较？
the amount后面应该省略of the driver-ins吧？
