请教一个问题。。关于too..to的结构

LZM的E6-6题：
The physical structure of the human eye enables it to sense light of wavelengths up to 0.0005 millimeters;infrared radiation , however, is invisible because its wavelenth--0.1 millmeters--is too long to be registered by the eye.
A.infrared radiation , however, is invisible because its wavelenth--0.1 millmeters--is too long to be registered by the eye.
C. infrared radiation, however,is invisible because its wavelength-0.1 millmeters--is too long for the eye to register it.
答案是A 我选C LZM的解释是说没有too+adj+for sb/sth +to do sth的结构但是白勇的117页里给出了这种结构喔。。请问c除了这个错误外还有没有别的错误呢？而且在gmat中这种结构是否正确？谢谢各位指教！不胜感激！！

C选项最后那个it指不对，语法上和前面那个its指代一致，是指infrared radiation，但从逻辑上应指代wavelength。A用被动语态有效地避免了此问题。
