请问下这里decimated是指的什么呢？

我觉得其实这句虽然生词绕地人头晕，但是其实对解题没有什么大妨碍。
B错，by which native peoples of the Western Hemisphere decimated中by which应跟一个完整的主谓结构，但这里明显缺谓语，fragment
CD我最先排除了，没有特殊情况，将原句合理的主动语态改为被动的，错
E，have错了，process是单数。还有，根据白勇的说法，在文中若出现the+N.时，这个名词应该是上文提到过的东西。很明显，这里的devastation and enslavement都是第一次出现，不能加the

呵呵，不知道我的这种理解思路对不对，请NN指教

umm.. that has decimated native peoples of the Western Hemisphere修饰的应该是devastation and enslavement，而不是progress.
另外由于句子自己也说了the devastation and enslavement是一个progress，所以从语义上来讲是有不同的、连续的事件组成的，所以后面that从句用have听合理。
所以我更加赞同E……

这题我曾经错过。。。。。。。。。

当时选了B。。。。。。。。。

乍看一下居然以为DECIMATED是谓语。。。。。。——————唉。。。。。SC就是要细心。。。。。。我总是几十秒一个。。。。。。错误就是这样造成的。
