有个地方不明白就是 and,...,that 是否就等于 and that?
一直不明白这类句子结构是怎么回事儿,记得以前有个句子也是这样的,好像是: ...when, ...

该题中 as sources of building material and firewood 是插入语，你拿掉再看。

and,..., that 在这里不是一个结构，而是两个并列句，supply pharmaceuticals 和 provide employment。as部分表示原因，"可以作为建筑材料以及木材的来源"
