谓语部分是were helped to practice falling

然后看修饰语，during the 1950s是时间状语，在这种长句中最好放在句首，不会引起歧义。
as part of their therapy是主语的定语

A :during the 1950s可能修饰practice falling，引起歧义
B：during the 1950s可能修饰live，歧义
