有 NN 知道如何用 so as to 吗？好像在 OG 里没有个用 so as to 选项是对的。只有一个ETS的解释用了这个词：
OG 196: "Although choice C manages the correct tense, it misplaces the sentence elements so as to suggest that the Western Hemisphere once existed between Siberia and Alaska."

so adj as to 大全里有对的时候，只要主谓一致，简单结构，不到装就可以

so as to连用，在大全里没有一个这样用的选项是对的！但并不是说so as to本身错，查了字典，发现so as to表示“如此...以致于”

我觉得ETS在表达这个意思时更喜欢用so that，因此导致了大全中用so as to必错

希望对你有所帮助:

so as to \so … as to \ so that \so… that
1、在单一主谓结构中，例如：She is so good as to be a teacher。So... as to比So that要简洁，因此优先。但是所谓单一主谓结构，并不是说绝对的象上面这个句子这么简单，还需要看是否有复杂的修饰关系，如果连你都觉得用SO THAT痛快的时候，那就是SO THAT。这里，没有严格的标准。
2、So as to连用的方式，在GMAT中一般都认为是非选择的答案，但不要绝对化，现还未有例外。如有，请补充。
3、注意so that后的主语，尤其是代词，要看是否有歧义，通常情况下指代主句主语，但要看so that前是否有歧义名词干扰。
4、而a tornado is so small that such a study has not been practial.很好地表达了意思，因为这是一个典型的so ... as to逻辑主语合理性的问题，因为so ... as to be ....中的be的主语一定是句子主语，也就是a tornado ，代入后是不正确的，怎么能说a tornado be impractical of study呢，应该是a study be impractical of study。所以还是要从逻辑意思上判断。我们千万不能掉进了ETS的陷阱，也不能使用那些绝对化的标准，而是要sentence correction!
1．For their part, Victorian critics were virtually obsessed with finding the place of the woman writer so as to judge her appropriately.
2．For example, Alpers asserts that Rembrandt deliberately left his works unfinished so as to get more money for their revision and completion.
3．Some speculate that the unusually high frequency of small goats found in island populations is a response to evolutionary pressure to increase the number of goats so as to ensure a diverse gene pool.
结论：so as to的逻辑主语可以是主句的主语、从句的主语(1)、从句的主语(26, 2)、从句的宾语(3)。（当然，总之，其逻辑主语并非一定为主句的主语。如果是的话，mzyzhu举的例子A就对了，为方便起见，再贴出完整的题目：
2. In 1527 King Henry VIII sought to have his marriage to Queen Catherine annulled so as to marry Anne Boleyn.

那兔儿对 so as to 的逻辑主语（in boldface）理解对不对？

八戒总结得真好。但是我还有疑问：这个例子中根本就没有从句，也就不可能有什么别的词可以做so as to的逻辑主语了？Queen Catherine 在这里都不是一个中心词，而只是修饰marriage用，不太可能让人觉得她是逻辑主语。
我倒是觉得so as to有时候表目的，有时候表结果，这在意思上可能会产生歧义：是离婚的目的是再结婚呢，还是离婚的结果是再结婚？而so that虽然也是既可表目的又可表结果，但是so that+情态动词这个结构是很确定地表目的，更好一些。不知道这样理解对不对？

读了那几个关于so as to 的例子，我有个不太全面的归纳，就是so as to 前面总会跟一个 do sth so as to do.so as to do修饰的就是紧跟着它的动作，所以so as to 里的代词，一般和前面 do sth里的名词有关。不知道大神怎么看？
