答案选C,我的疑问是为什么这里是body而不是bodies呢？麻烦大家解答下。。。谢谢！

it is better to use the singular in referring to an anatomical feature common to an entire species.

前面是unlike other arachnids，后面必然和arachnids对称。只有C对称

即在指整个种群的某一个共同结构的时候通常用单数。
body是那些arachnids都拥有的东西，所以用单数。
