看过前人的帖子，关于D错误的解释有两个can应该为could，they指代不清。
可为什么they会有指代不清之嫌呢？我认为根据逻辑意思they can no longer afford monthly payments中的they只能指代Americans，home mortgage foreclosures 是不可能发出afford这个动作的啊？求解释

foreclosure是抵押品赎回权的意思，我认为若是要指代它，则应用those指代物，而不是用they这样的人称代词。所以可以忽略they存在they指代不明的问题。

they可以指代物的。我觉得they并没有指代不清。
主要还是could的原因。
