Hey there, thanks for replying!
I did the TOEFL before I went to US, it's gonna expire in two years. It would save me some trouble if I don't have to take it again for MBA application.
I currently work at a firm called CITIC Securities, a leading investment bank in China. I work in the asset management divisoin, focusing on asset backed securities and alternative investment. I creat ABS, quasi-REITs and invest in investment trusts, I also do something we callled "trading ABS", which is repackaging the portfolios we hold into an ABS and sell it to investors at higher price.
Before my current job, I studied at Georgetown for a Master's degree and Peking University for two bachelor's. My academic path has been quite research oriented. First mathematics, then economics.
Life at an investment bank proved to be tougher than I expected. I work 15 hours a day at least, never had the time to study for GMAT or CFA, but I will make time for it. |
